Oratory Prep Opens, dedicates Game-Changing Degaeta Hall

“SUMMIT, NJ – More than 800 guests recently attended the Grand Opening and Dedication of Oratory Preparatory School’s DeGaeta Hall, a 48,000 square-foot new structure constructed by Donnelly Construction that includes — among its features and amenities — a new gymnasium, science lab and cafeteria.

The structure is named after Al DeGaeta, the grandfather of an Oratory alumnus, who oversaw numerous aspects of the construction, and headed up previous renovations to the Bain Building and the installation of the turf field. The building became a reality through the support of the Michael A.J. Farrell Foundation — named after the school’s former Board Chair — along with the support of numerous members the Oratory community.”
