Donnelly Construction delivered the Mound Road Industrial Park, a 122.7 acre redevelopment of a former GM facility with roots dating back to World War II tank manufacturing. Before construction began, the site required extensive remediation, setting the stage for a complex, large scale build from day one. The project included two ground up industrial buildings totaling more than 700,000 square feet, a 253,000 square foot facility and a 450,000 square foot facility, constructed with precast wall panels for durability and efficiency.
After completing the core and shell work, Donnelly was selected to perform the Home Depot tenant fit out within the larger building, including extending a rail line directly into the facility to support distribution operations. Overall, the project reflects Donnelly Construction’s ability to manage challenging industrial developments from remediation through specialized tenant improvements, while delivering a finished facility built for long term performance.
