The Bonnie Brae School selected Donnelly Construction out of a large group of competitors to be the Design-Builder for the campus’ newest set of projects. Bonnie Brae noted our previous successful renovation of some of the school’s cottages as a major factor in the re-selection. The Family Resource Center is being re-purposed into a welcoming and visitor center, and the New Cottage is a single-story housing residence for the boys consisting of bedrooms, bathrooms, laundry rooms, living spaces, and staff offices. The additions will maintain the classical Tudor design of the building exterior and the original slate roof is being replaced with faux slate shingles.

Upper Montclair Country Club selected Donnelly Construction to complete an extensive renovation to their facility, including a brand new Pro Shop, and Member’s Dining room additions. The 2,000 SF steel-framed dining room received all new coffered ceilings, and Kolbe bi-fold doors that open up to the new timber framed patio which was locally sourced from the Pacific Northwest. The 5,800 SF timber patio was the highlight of the project and featured a new outdoor bar, central fireplace, and a stamped concrete surface. The new additions received synthetic slate roofing to match the look of the original slate roof that covered majority of the existing clubhouse.
