Project Description

Donnelly Construction completed the Floor & Decor project in Staten Island, transforming a former Macy’s Furniture store into a brand-new 50,800 square foot retail location. The scope included major demolition and reconstruction, including removing the existing slab and pouring a new one to meet Floor & Decor’s specific structural and operational standards, followed by a full interior fit-out to deliver a high-performing retail space.

Located next to the Staten Island Mall in a prime, high-traffic corridor, this project marked Floor & Decor’s first Staten Island store and only the second location within New York City’s five boroughs. The finished space also helped launch Floor & Decor’s new Urban Design concept, a smaller, city-focused store format built for dense markets and strong customer access.
