Project Description

Donnelly Construction is honored to partner with the Ho-Ho-Kus Public School District on the Duffield Hall addition, made possible by a generous $10 million gift from Dave and Cheryl Duffield. This transformative project includes demolishing the existing gymnasium and creating a state-of-the-art gymnasium and wellness center with versatile classroom space.

The new facility will feature upgraded recreation equipment, motorized bleachers, and enhanced natural light through a raised roof. Redesigned locker rooms will accommodate a health classroom and community bathrooms. The wellness center’s elegant design includes mirrored walls for dance, yoga, and mindfulness, sliding whiteboard walls, and an interactive display. A biophilic design approach incorporates natural materials and large glazed areas to connect the indoor space with the outdoor learning environment.
